About Sarah - Founder of EmeraldByte.

From Wall Street to making technology feel less intimidating.

My career in technology has taken me from Wall Street, working for one of America’s leading banks for 8 years, to Australia, helping develop AI-powered sports technology at an app company.

Along the way, I’ve experienced both the scale of corporate life and the energy of a start-up. Travelling and working across different environments gave me opportunities to learn, explore and see what technology can make possible.

But what matters most to me is helping others feel that those possibilities are open to them too.

I founded EmeraldByte. to make all things IT, coding and everyday technology feel more approachable. Whether you’re an adult starting from scratch, a young person discovering coding or a business looking for practical guidance, my aim is simple: clear explanations, patient support and the confidence to give things a go.
